There are many differences when it comes to comparing, Colorado Springs, and Texas. Colorado has some of the most respectful people in it, we have the most beautiful mountains you will ever see called “Pikes peak” it has an altitude of over 14,000ft, that’s pretty high. Another great thing about Colorado and its beauties is, Marijuana is legal and not everybody in Colorado is loving this new law that has been passed. We have some of the best buds in the states. Some more great things about Colorado, is the world’s first rodeo was held in 1869, in deer field. Now moving on to The great state of Texas. You all have heard the sane “everything is bigger in Texas” that is true. There are also more rude people in Texas than anywhere else. It can get above 100 degrees in Texas, there are no mountains to enjoy in Texas all you have is miles of rode to cover. There are more than 70,000 miles of highway, so there is a lot of driving while in Texas. The largest city in Texas is Houston Texas there you can enjoy some of the best tacos at the “Great Stop”. Here are a few things about Colorado at its finest, and Texas at its finest.
Colorado and South Carolina are very beautiful states. They are both alike in many ways and both different in many ways. Some may argue that one is better than the other; but really it all depends on your personal preference. By the time you finish reading this you will know which one best suits you.
These two states can have plenty of things about them that differ one from the other or make them both alike. It can be geography, nature, history, culture, sports government, economy or even the people.
The geography of Colorado is very different than the geography of South Carolina. Colorado is more central U.S. where as South Carolina is on the east coast. Colorado is more dry which makes it perfect for those who have respiratory conditions. South Carolina is a lot more humid than Colorado because it is a coastal state.
Colorado's wildlife is very different than South Carolina's. However, they are both very interesting. Colorado has bears, wolves, and many other animals that make it interesting because South Carolina does not have some of these animals. In Colorado, there are only four native snakes that are venomous and they are all rattle snakes. In South Carolina, there are many different snakes that are venomous and do not have rattlers. One of these snakes is the coral snake. Known for it's neuro-toxic venom, it is considered the most poisonous snake in the U.S.
South Carolina has a lot of history to it and so does Colorado. South Carolina has several sites that can be visited and some date as far back to the Revolutionary War, while others date back only to the Civil War. There are old slave plantations and structures that were used to garrison soldiers during the Civil War all across South Carolina. One of the battles of the Civil War happened in Aiken of South Carolina. Another city famous in South Carolina is Charles Town. Charles Town was named after King Charles. The British eventually took this town over and the Americans eventually took it back and changed the name of the town to Charleston.
Colorado's history is totally different than the history of South Carolina. Colorado was first visited by spanish explorers in the 1500's and the territory was claimed for Spain for Juan de Ulibanni in 1706. Colorado was obtained by the U.S. in different sections at a time. It is known for having a higher elevation than any other state and the mountain 'Pike's Peak' was discovered by U.S. Army Lieutenant Zebulon M. Pike in 1806. Colorado was known as an agricultural and mining state with breath taking scenenry.
The culture in Colorado comes in a variety. Colorado has people of many different races and nationalities where as South Carolina only has Whites, African Americans and very few Hispanics. The people in Colorado are much more laid back. South Carolina suffers from a small racial problem between the blacks and the whites. However, not everyone is racist. It is common to see a Confederate flag flying in front of someone's house which is a way to represent southern heritage.
The government of Colorado is very similar to the government of South Carolina. The laws may be slightly different here and there but not by much. One thing different in South Carolina is that you will find more people who do not like the government than you will people who do like the government.
The two states South Carolina and Colorado are both very different in some ways and very similar in other ways. The land and the scenery seem to be the biggest two differences apart from history.
